Anyone see it last night?

Was an utter load of shite IMO. Was really looking forward to the Insignia VXR review, and they spent more time talking about the bint who did the road signs??

and given the amount of ££ that must have been spent on the other two reviews, on cars people can't afford, was ridiculous. Granted they didn't actually say anything bad about the Insignia, I know what the roads around the Peak District/Castleton/Sheffield look like, and I don't care why she designed the road signs like she did. I wanted to know about the car....

Yeh i didn't get that either. was really looking forward to seein the Insignia too, as soon as James May said he was drivin it i new it would be crap, why put captain slow in a VXR to test drive?????? I still want one tho 🙂

I love the seats in it, they look so much better than the ones in the Astra.

must admit tho' I too was looking fwd to a better review on what seemed like a really great car!!!!

Anyone notice the amount of "Showroom Tax" lol that the X6 Petrol engines were to run - 950 quid! OMG!

To be honest imo they've gone the politician's way (got the money now f*** the people)
they started off with affordable cars and fair enough a little bit more top of the range (who Would'nt)
but they got involved in trying the cars and being objective, i still love the show but thats what it is now a show
never thought i'd hear myself say it but tiff n henderson etc do the peoples affordable cars
think top gear have got too used to spending the TV Licencing money on extravagance cryb..

To me Top Gear is a car show i love to watch but not an average workingmans affordable car show anymore

As you've said Tazmad, the entertainment value is there, but it's just not a serious car show any more.
