me and a mate have been doing an engine conversion, just a easy swap, from a z22se to another z22se, we got it cranking over ok, but think the fuel is knackered as its been stood in the tank for well over a year now, so we will sort that,
only problem we have is the clutch fluid that goes to the top of the gearbox, now we havnt worked on one of these engines before so please bear with me lol. basically the union should just clip on shouldnt it, onto what looks like a black plastic pipe, it clips on but it seems that this plastic pipe is loose and hasnt located properly so when the clutch is pressed it seeps fluid out, we have tried to push it into the box thinking it may just clip back in but it just pops back out again,
is there a certain way you have to put it in, i cant get it out, it only pulls out slightly but try and push it into the box and it feels like a spring or something is stopping it and pushing it back out,
i know i may not have described it well, but hopefully someone can shine some light on what to do, cheers
