Serious air leak somewhere.. The SC alu/rubber gasket should seal pretty good.
Does it die when you block of the TB completely?
What did you do with the crank breather gap in the inlet mani? Is it blocked with the gasket or open?

well that breather should work now since I'm using the saab head..
haven't tried blocking it off completely yet

is the saab mani gasket the same as the lsj one?

4 to 6 actually
used to be around 7-8 but the idle wasn't as good as now

I've got a US L61 ECU if you wanted to try that. I believe its been cracked and can be tinkered with through GM tuner.

L61 ECU is from the US 2,2 and to my knowledge not "tunable"...
I have a P12 ecu from the 2.0 Supercharded LSJ block and that is pretty much open programming with the HP-Tuners program. Only the LSJ works with a 58-2 crank trigger and needs a cam sensor (just like the original 2.0 Saab engine/head), so that will need some modding...

I have some catching up to do. 😃

saab uses a "cam" sensor similar to ours.. you need to get the cam sensor from an actual lsj (atom has bought one)
