What chain needs to be

Changed I know the oil jet comes in a kit but what chain comes with it ?

& is it advisable to change anything else while the chain is being replaced ?

Oh & finally anyone know the price for the chain kit required ?

best replacing both m8 the cam chain and the balancing chain

its not the balance shaft chain its the cam chain, from what i read the balance shaft chain only snaps if the cam chain snaps and falls onto it causing it to snap if that makes sense.

u need quite a few other bits to do it properly m8,
essential are:-

Cam chain kit.
Balance shaft chain kit.
cam cover gasket
crank pully bolt.
crankshaft front oil seal.
timing cover gasket.

engine oil
filter.

And a wide range of tools,and a locking tool for the camshafts to stop em jumping round on you...

that's what you need 🙂

the balancer chain is not required to be changed, should last 200k

for 70 quid tho u'd be silly not to chnge it whilst its apart..
