While i am on the subject of the car, its really shite on fuel consumption. I have plugged it on to my diagnostics to find that the EGR valve isnt working, so i have ordered the EGR cheater from the site, and will fit it soon as it arrives. I also have issues with the car hesitating between 1-3000 rpm, once it goes past 3000rpm picks up lovelly, any ideas?? or could this be because of the EGR valve? i have done the usual checks, and changed plugs, done a complete service, but still the same issues.
I want to do a few things to improve the power but dont want to be spending mega money on it at the moment, going to fit a panel filter, and was thinking of moving the air box lower down inside the arch so that it has more of a cold feed. Read somewhere on here that the z22se seems to respond better with panel filter, and longer intake? is this right? Going to get it on the ramp tomorrow and take the exhaust off, drill out pre cat. other than that not sure what else to do. I wanted to remove the cat completely, but again read on here that the engine doesnt like it to much.
