aye happens regularly around Birmingham
I know someone who was held at knifepoint in his bed and his wife being played about with until he told em where the keys was for his cossie
another bloke i know was asleep and he heard the garage door being opened and someone driving off in his vx220, they broke into the house and took his keys
the new way of nicking cars now concerning latest alarms and immobilizers, no point breaking into em just break into the owners house and take the keys, police take a min of 10 - 15 minutes to arrive at scene now so you got enough time to drive it into a lock up or change the plates on a quiet road
how many of you leave your car keys next to the front door ?
I am one of em but I know it aint worth breaking into my house for the car i got
I aint a fan of buying expensive cars purely cos It is more trouble than it is worth, and the people I know who have had cars nicked off their drives wont buy another expensive flash car again cos they dont want to be mugged in their own homes
personally i rather look at my savings account than what is sat on my drive and I can sleep at night knowing I aint in debt, own my own house with no mortgage no credit cards no HP and got enough money to buy a brand new car from my savings
is pretentiousness worth being mugged lol
and my motto is if you can afford to buy an expensive car you can afford to lose it
