Engine changing

hi guys, i know this topic is pretty well covered but i cant find what i want to know, for the first time on this site

how long will an engine change take, the garage im using to replace my absolutely fooked engine has another z22se sitting there ready, just waiting for a free lift. Is 2 days a realistic target, or am i shooting for the stars on this on, would really like it back before xmas, lookin less and less likely by the day tho

I would have thought that was fair.

should be ok for a straight swop, its benificial to drop the engine out the bottom still on the subframe and roll out on a trolley thro the front.

just remebered, they have to MOT it as well, does that add on a day?

depends how busy they are IMO An MOT test takes about 45 mins if they have a spare mot slot sure they could get it all done in a couple of days
