I've got the 'pipercams' reprofiled 266 degree cams in mine and recommend them.
the standard cams are only 244 degree :shock:
Did you think it necessary to upgrade the valve springs?
I see Thorney and Courtenay now offer the Shrick cams which come with double springs as standard.
There was a story that Piper cams on the throttle body development vx 'buzzed' the head, due to the follower not being able to follow the cam profile, causing the arms to crack.

but I don't know if they would be an improvement / up to the task... what..
edit: I should mention that website only produces parts for the 2.2 L61 Ecotec, no idea of that is the same head as ours...
