Passenger airbag off?

Hi all, just a quick one. Need to put the nippers car seat in the front when we go up north for xmas. Anyone know how to turn the passenger airbag off? There isn't a key switch for it anywhere that I can find so I'm guessing you're not supposed to?! I've heard people mention if you disconnect the seat sensor pad/mat this will do the trick but don't just wanna try it without asking around first. Cheers in advance :thumbup:

you cannot simply switch it off :thumbdown:

the only way would be to disconnect the airbag and swap the airbag ecu for a single bag, but you would also need to disconnect the side airbags and door sensors :wtf:

probably easier to fit the child seat in the back....

I have an Astra and can't turn the airbags off either, so the kids go in the back :thumbup:

Bugger! :thumbdown: Thanks for the replies tho gents. Thought that might be the case. The Mrs has a thing about putting the nippers seat behind my seat so I have my nose on the screen lol! Might be able to live with it now tho as for the first time ever I have Cruise!! :thumbup:
