RIP Z22 Zafira - opinions please, is it a write off?

Hi all, after lots of fiddling and replacing things and head scratching I finally got my 2.2 Zaf runnning SWEET. On Saturday evening, however, she was soundly taken up the rear and now I fear she may be no more....I'm going to try and add some pics, can I have opinions as to whether they'll write her off ? The insurance aren't collecting till Thursday so I just want to see what you all think. Cheers, Justin.

bumper alone will cost £700 supply, fit & spray then u got to have a rear arch welded in and sprayed which is another £1k then u got tailgate that be another £500+ spraying

i reckon it is a write off

worth buying it back though m8 as u could repair that for around £700 with 2nd hand parts

I was thinking write-off, just thought I'd get some opinions. To be honest, I think I'll take the payout ( once they offer it, that is ) and look around again. Haven't got time / ready cash to fix so will probably go for either same model in auto or something totally different. Cheers guys

Hi all, you were right !! Written off. I've just received a cheque for £2550 so I'm putting in a few hundred quid and I'm getting another one ! All being well, the new one will be an 03 plate 2.2 automatic so I'll probably be back on here again when things go wrong ( and they surely will........)

Hi Matt, yes so far ! Only driven it a few times though due to the weather...It's an auto is this one, so it feels a little different to the old 2.2 Zaf which was manual but I'm getting used to it. I've had autos before, just a matter of putting the left leg back to sleep :-)

Hi mate, yes the 2.2 Elegance Auto. To be honest, I've had no complaints about my insurance company ( Direct Line ).
