Has anyone attempted this before? :think:

Not really driving the vectra anymore because we have a tdi passat as the family car and I have a van, motorbike and track car so its not really needed, so decided to sell. However its not the money I want off the car its the fact I hate to see all that work just sitting there so I thought.... mmm I wonder could I convert a corsa with the veccys runnin gear??? or maybe a 92-98 astra (but corsa would be fun) :lol:

I know drives etc would have to be made but would the actual stove and box fit if I made new mountings??

Yep, Dod had one fitted into his Corsa B, and his was also supercharged.

that corsa must have been insanley fast, considering that a standard astra is quite quick before any mods, so less weight/more power woulda been scary tbh.

Has any1 been lucky enough to be in it goin full whack?

yeah I saw that vid earlier... the engine is fairly rocked back even if it is under load dont ya think?

have a 00 1.2 swing corsa with engine gone if I need it just need to know if there is any difference between vx220 gearbox and the veccy one (besides the vx probably having a LSD)

Got talking to Gerorge (dods) and he was kind enough to e-mail me pics of engine mounting points... he put a lot of work into that little car! :o

Well I'll give it a stab anyway so project starting up after xmas! cheers..

there is lad in Poland who hac x30xe + supercharger Eaton m112 in corsa 😃 mad joke 🙂 he's member of polish corsa club owners.

He said he was aiming for 400+hp with a bigger supercharger.... :wtf: :wtf: ATM its 260ish as far as i can remember dunno..

But AFAIK there is a conversion kit available for dropping in a v6 stove into a corsa... everyone laughed when I looked for one for the z22se :lol: :lol:

Yeah i'm happy with the power and torque of the vectra for a road car so in a corsa would be mint! showo..
Plus its not like the v6 type conversion where you loose all your handling with a big heavy engine, the z22se is a nice weight. Must get the vectra dyno'd now to see what the cams and dbilas done for it before I remove all :think:

I was thinking as the ecu is on the engine on the z22se the actual wirng of the car should be relativly simple??

yeah you shuold be kindo ok, you certainly wont run in to issues with CAN like i have, im not sure you'll have much luck witht the wiring diagram tho,
if you do post it on here, there would be many gratefull people!!!
