1 very slow and thirsty 2.2

:swear::grrrrr::swear::grrrrr:FOOOOk me is my car slow sat in a bit of traffic today went to join the m25 put my foot down and its well flat got off the m25 put my foot down again :grrrrr: the car held back then it decided to go looked at the petrol and ive done 80 miles for twenty quid :swear::grrrrr::grrrrr::swear::grrrrr::swear::grrrrr:

could this be because i put the magnex on surely not

80 miles on £20 isn't great but then at the price of fuel you ain't gettin much for your money! If you're sat in traffic and going on the M-Way its going to drink rather quickly.

If you base fuel on £1.05 litre for normal unleaded, £20 gets you 19.04 litres. 19 divided by 4.53 = 4.2 gallons. 80 miles divided by 4.2 gallons = 19mpg.

If you are paying more for your fuel then it'll be worse. Idling in traffic is a killer for consumption as is stop/start driving.

Iv never worked mine out, if I can't run it cos of low petrol then I use the other halts car,lol.
Although I'm using mine alot more now cos I'm back atwork and the petrol seams to be lasting longer than normal(that's with a heavy foot as well)

i looked at the exhaust today and it has a gap between the backbox and centre section
