Just Been On The Rollers

Well i went to AMD Technik in essex today for a rolling road meet.
went on the rollers and was happy with the results.
mods i have
Cone filter
2.4 inlet
piper cams
piper 4-1 exhaust manifold
200cell cat
2.25" exhaust system
i know i have a bit of a torque drop of 5lb/ft but last sent of rollers i went on with out the 2.4 i only hit 154bhp and 150lb/ft so im happy.
if your going to say remove the 2.4 please take your commenst else where lol 😃

so it ended with 177.1bhp and 163lb/ft

not same rollers but still. rollers cant be 20bhp different.
there are no true rollers anywhere tbh.
i am going to go back there again tho.
but saying that i went to the same rollers twice bfore one with 2.4 on and other with 2.2 and there was a 17bhp different then. but now i fixed the lambdr sensor its all running fine now.

i doubt you could ever prove one's more accurate than the other... but you can just keep going back to the same one if you want to see the real difference

I had my car setup and tested on the old Courtenay rollers and returned 1 year later on their new rollers and i was within 3bhp of the previous year.

i see you have simalar mods to me mine ran 178.88hp and 155.63 torque the other week at courtenays.i see you got a better torque figure than mine i wonder why?also you were haveing probs at idle in slow traffic etc like i was did the remap sort that for you?mines still the same as it was before the remap

i have no remap richard. that is later on in the pipe line.

Thats is a very good result, i bet you are over the moon. Did you see what rollers where they, as said you can only really comapre if you go on the same rollers. As for 20bhp difference in rollers the answer is yes it can happen as it has with me lol.

I am sure though AMD will have a tip top setup.

I also had a 13bhp difference between rollers (same ones Si has been on).

The only constant ones I've seen have been at Courtenays as John mentioned, even their old Vs new ones were pretty much the same, with the new ones being even more accurate.

nice work scott regardless of what the others think, even if the RR is not accurate you deserve it anyway considering the amount of time and effort u put into your car even if i find the purple alloys a bit strange [instead of calling u the dark knight should call u the dark horse as u is a closet batman fan with the way your car has looked in the past]
