Nice :thumbup: . What sort of a difference is it now when driving it? is it dead quiet or just a little bit quieter? How much weight do you think youve added?

Ive thought about sound deadening in the past but ive allways wondered if i have a wheel bearing going or something else would you still hear it to know its going?

i sound deadened one of my cars due to have subs in the boot, it was so much better

i mainley did it for the ICE side, driving it a bit quiter but i have a stupidley loud exhaust so not much different made there. i prob added about 6kg to the whole car.

The flashing tape is OK, but you'll still get a lot better result using proper dynamat. You need around 3 layers of flashing to match the sound proofing properties of dynamat.

On my old 106, I even went as far as filling the boot with expanding foam!

Thing is it cost me £60 to do my whole car when if I used the proper stuff it would have been £70 to do just a door.
