Reverse Lights not working

Haven't done any checks yet but both bulbs going at the same time is a bit of a concidence, i been reading on other forums that it is more a likely to be the reverse light switch in the gearbox dunno..

i got same prob but even when i take switch out and press the button the lights come on but when i put iot back and go in reverse it dont work i think on mine its the thing in gearbox that pushes the switch

Went to vauxhall yesterday a bought another switch, and the reverse lights have started working again :roll:

I know it's so frustrating, it''s feels like they are constantly laughing at you when things go wrong (maybe thats my crazy head :lol🙂

Just replaced my switch this evening. My advice is do this job with the front wheel removed. I did it with the wheel turned in and car jacked up. It was a pain in the arse but i've done it now and lights working fine now. 19mm ring spanner required and new switch to complete the job.

I never had one either IIRC but i'm sure the EPC showed a washer so got one anyway

thats so weird coz mine stopped working for a week for no reason and then started working again dunno..

thats how mine started, just change the switch and no problems

im sure the pin its self wears down causing a flat spot as that happened to mine

Mine also needs doing!! I've already bought the switch, just need to get the car back off my mate so I can fit it!!
