if you have self adjusting lights and your model comes with xenons as standard like on the vectra B then it is hard to prove them illegal

just dont seem to be that bright far infront unless on full beam which isnt good with other cars oncomming if you know what i mean?

I've seen plenty fitted to MK4's mate, and all of them get though the MOT, so you'll be fine

yeh i havent yet heard of a MOT station failing a HID kit

i iant heard of pigs [pulling cars over cos of HID's either

i got blue LED sidelights and i aint been pulled for em nor failed MOT and they been on before the last 2 MOT's lol

something i just thought of, is the turbo sri's speedo up to 160? the 2.2 is only 140. i may have bought the wrong one, hahahaha. i feel like an edgit 🙁

Scott's is a 2.2, and just noticed his new clocks show 160mph, but found another picture of a 2.2 set of clocks only showing 140

depends on model but i am sure all 2.2 vectra B's had clocks up to 160mph

yer there were 2 types for us.
the white 160mph
the black 160mph
and white 140mph
i dont think they did a 140mph in black for us.
the thing is the 160 white and black are different. you can only change the dials if you have white face ones the black are different for some reason.

yer the speeds are different form the black to the white ones, quite a bit as well

just outta interest, is it a major hassle to change ur speedos to the 160mph? is there any astra ones out there?

i noticed the astra 2.0l turbos top speed is like 147mph, so theyr speedos must be up to 160, but what all comes with changig a speedo, is there sum major work?

is there too much hassle, cos i would like my one to go to 160, but if its major work ill just not bother

im not sure tbh mate i dont think i have know anyone to change them. and they say the top speed is 147 in the turbo i know that the turbos go off the clock. the 2.2 goes faster than 147.
