Denso Iridium Spark Plugs??

After reading Spacewalkers thread about NGK Iridium plugs, I can't seem to find a listing for the z22se engine so on further investigation i've found a set of Denso Iridium plugs listed for the z22se under the vx220 catagory.

That was a good find then. I didn't think you could get them for the z22se. Give'em a ring and see if they'l do a group buy im due a new set 😃

My mate who is a mastertech at vauxhall told me when i bought my astra to only use gm plugs as other brands dont offer the correct resistance and can cause problems woth the coil and then the ecu. but sayin that he does ride around on an old vespa with 50 mirrors on it, grease his hair back and look like elvis back from the dead so there's def something questionable about his judgment 8)

I would agree for standardish engines but i'm after info regarding forced induction use.

So with n/a but sports cat/system, induction kit of some kind
modified inlet maybe upgraded cams and few other minimal
bits what plugs would be recomended ? notsure.gif
it does get a little confusing because i'd heard the same thing from a vx
parts bloke abought using GM plugs but uptill now i'd used
bosh 4's ??? dunno..
ive looked on the link but it doesnt help explain
GM v Iridium v Bosh 4 in the car (as Example) it just points out
that the iridium performs better but what diff does this make
to the performance? notsure.gif

I had GM plugs in with the Courtenay CS5 package and i've still got them in with the SC conversion. GM are the best for NA usage, modified or not.

CS5 = Cams, headwork, precat delete, 200cpi Sport cat, 2.5 inch cat back system, airbox mods and K&N panel filter and remap.

I was still using the gm triple electrodes at over 200 bhp :thumbup:

I only changed them because the saab head uses different plugs, if I could find the correct triple electrode plugs for the saab head I would fit some
