Update on mods on the clubsport

i've driven a 330 clubsport, it is pretty quick and well balanced like most BMs

Was talking to a BMW purest today and they don't recommend that you change the exhaust as it was designed and built with performance in its purpose. I can't knock Jamees car, its bloody mint and i've even had the pleasure of driving it. Stunning car!

but the miltek was proberly built follow advice from tms as he is a bmw tuner and has ties with miltek and we all know what he doesn't know about tuning cars an't worth knowing dunno..

did you feel any difference after you fitted the sprint booster, im a bit skeptical of cheap mods like them, so it will interesting to see what you think?

Yes it it some device you plug in on the throttle pedal.

Actually it was 246.7 with 199 at wheels, and 241 torque, the RR guy said it was the most under powered car that had been on so far, and expected it to run at least 260bhp. Funny thing is all the cars were running good figs before a veccy vxr broke the rollers, then everyones figs were down slightly.
Jimbob from VVOC has a 3L veccy with tb's and all, and his is 250bhp, but he took mine out and came back saying it is alot quicker than his, and getting there is alot more quicker and more fun, so i dont know what happened.
I dont mind, 246bhp is ok, dont know what to do know tho, SC it for 4k fitted or just sell up and buy an M3 or 06 scooby...

The sprintbooster is an add on on the throttle, but mine was incorprated into the remap, and is probably the best part of the remap, made a huge difference.

Have you seen the YouTube vids of SC BMW's?? Fuck me they're awesome and blisteringly quick! From what i've heard from the BMW 330 fraternity at work, your car is running about right give or take 5-10bhp with your mods. Your car is fantastic already but if you're thinking of converting it to SC, I would sell it and spend the money on a ready made FI car.

Its just a real shame that you never had a dyno run from before you started modifiying. You hear a few stories of the BMW being a little flamboyant with its power figures from the manufacturer. You could have been down a little in the first place and in that case your mods would have given a very good gain.

i did in Jan in London with the BM boys, it ran 227bhp.
Thing is, there's no point SC i reckon, as it will be just quicker than a standard M3, i'd rather sell up for around 10k, add 3k and buy an 02/03 M3 with SMG 2 paddle shift and tune that upto 400bhp.

Sounds like a plan to me mate! Go for it! The only thing that I will say is that an M3 takes a while to wind up. All the big BHP comes very late in the rev range, at almost 7900rpm. Torque is still quite low too in the 250lbs region. I embarassed an M3 owner whilst leaving Silverstone at Trax 2008. He couldn't catch me upto around 90mph. He then continued on to embarass me after that! lol! Timmee was there and witnessed the event.

Its a bit wishy washy really. Turbo power is the way. I've driven Daz's car and that is fairly rapid. 4 wheel drive and turbo. Have you thought about a Mitsubishi Evo?

yeah i have, but i think they look like they have drove a ripspeed catologue, evo x is nice tho, my uncle has and it drives superbly and quick aint the word.

what about a Alpina B3S 300bhp and not as high running costs as a m3 dunno..
