Downpipe+Sports Cat necessary?

hi all, looking into doing some further mods. Since i have the z22yh vec c i cant find any bloody fast road cams that are compatible, so im looking back into my exhaust system. Now ive already got a full cat back system fitted by MIJ. Are the performance benefits redundant unless i have a sports cat fitted? notsure.gif

I think you might be able to move the cat from next to the manifold to under the car, then you can get a 4-1 manifold fitted to increase power, but you need to check if the exhaust manifold gasket is the same as a z22se - or same stud pattern

As vocky says check to see if the gaskets are the same for both the se and the yh and you can do as above....i removed the manifold cat on vids car and fitted piper manifold and 200 cell cat under the car for him..
