daniel_b since i had my astra there has always been a slite whine from tha powersteering,, but recently it wen off,, now and agen tho if i hit a bump it can come back on jus a bit noisey,, if i full lock it then though it goes back off.. fluid is fine..
dodger you have a noisy powersteering pump, I had one in my old Astra, nothing can be done to quieten it down unless you replace it.
daniel_b yea but tha power steering completely goes,, then sometimes can come back on,, could there be a dodgy wire
