Some beading shots

Gave the Astra a clean and wax over the weekend, and it's just started raining. I used Meguiars NXT Gen 2, as it's nice and easy to work with for a quick layer of protection.

Needs a really good polish though, as it's got loads of really fine swirl marks on it, just need to sort a day with Si to get that sorted.

I think some Harleys wax might be nice with arden blue.

Looking really good from those shots Matt....dread to think what a day with you and Si would produce!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont want to tempt it but would be interesting to see how my last clean fairs in the rain?????, if anything like that Id be happy.

Drakey you will prob get similar results only issue is if you dont seal glaze it wont last, but glaze is great for hiding defects and giving depth and shine IMO.

nice beading shots, how durable is Harleys.

I need to prep mine for the winter porbably use colinite as victoria and poorboys aren't that durable but give excellant finish for the summer periods

Harleys is a little better then nattys, not used it in ages and just thought i had a brand new tin of it.

What i do like for winter is rather than colinite is #26 hard yellow wax from megs range, think it is #26 dunno..

I would. Spend some money on it over the winter months.....you could have a nice little coupe by next summer.

yep can't justify spending money on cars anymore, so just going to maintain it in the condition it is in now its worth more to me than what i will get for it so will just enjoy having it for the summer months.
