Sjdickso It's a nice function to have. a mate just got charged £700 to have cruise fitted in his BMW !!!!
Matt I really struggle with my right ankle on long drives, so cruise control is a must have on any car I buy now. I'd have paid VX to fit it eventually, but it's costing me the stalk from e-bay, and £25 to have it fitted an activated.

Matt Tell me about it. I do find though that since I did my ankle in a few years back, it gives me some right grief feathering the throttle for a couple of hours, so a 6.5 hour drive down to Cornwall used to be a nightmare.

Not that i know who it is but i bet it will be the real deal tech2, prob just borrowed it from the stealer for the weekend where they work normally. I hear that a standard dealership have few just knocking around.
Matt New stalk fitted Old stalk out New Vs Old New one in Just sorting it to have it tech2'd in on Monday evening.
Drakey Nice one, and as said before... a handy bit of kit to have. Quick question tho....when using it I find I hover over the brake, scared that if something happens and I need to brake (& having both feet on the matt) I'm scared I might hit the wrong pedal??!!!!??!!! Am I a pussy????
Matt Yes.....you are a pussy! :-P No, I did find the same to start with. After a while, I just found it the same as driving normally, as you'd have to move your right foot to brake anyway.
Matt Had Cruise Control activated last night. Only issue is there is no light in the display to tell me it's active, but other than that, does exactly what it says on the tin.
MikeS the bulb is prob missing m8 🙂 when i fitted mine i had no light so worth taking dash out but I doubt u wanna do that on your car 🙂
Drakey Just gave mine a proper run....now in Essex visiting my parents......straight in the door, coffee, and check the forum!!!!! Great bit of kit on a long run.
