Prep`d 4 Winter

With the crap weather upon us (not that it`s been that great-a year!!) I thought the cars could do with a really good clean.
I washed both mine and Kates on Saturday, nothing too fancy, just wanted mine nice and clean for today.

I had opted for ProShine Diamond Glaze as Ive been more than happy with the products Ive previously purchased.....

Whacked a fair bit on and it buffed off quite nicely, oh to own a machine polisher, as I reckon it would have come up even better.
A few pictures before it was garaged 10 minutes before the rain came 😃

Now just hoping I can keep it reasonably clean and give it another coat within the next few days.......even give Kates a quick going over.

that stuff does give a good finish, you should really have a cloth underneath that bottle to prevent any clearcoat damage.

How durable is that pro-shine diamond glaze?

lol...the bottle was carefully placed on the roof, which hadn`t been cleaned before doing so.....(all detailers cringe!!!)

Hope its ok.....I do like a clean car but the milage I do on these roads makes it very hard to keep clean. Its never gonna be show car standard.

Thanks.....it had started to look a little neglected, interior needs a bit of attention now, and the windows a better clean.

I was quite suprised this morning arriving at work (51miles), that the car seemed very clean, usually I get a mental amount of dust and dirt thrown up the rear from these country roads, even after a short journey.
Im hoping the weather holds out and I can make it home in a similar condition as Ive another day off tomorrow (the joys of being on a course), so I can give it another coat and do things such as my door and boot inners. Maybe even a quick hoover. :thumbup:
Tyres and arches need a better dressing as do the plastic grilles..... and the dreaded exhaust pipe which I really struggle with being a diesel.

Cheers Matt, got some silver stuff somewhere, purchased for the Veccys pipe...Ill hunt that out and give it a go tomorrow.
