Hi all i have a 2000 sri 2.2 150, when i put my foot down my vectra will splutter and take a couple of sconds to pick up revs. I have changed the coil pack and the crank sensor, still not change. Really need a answer. The engine managment light has come on now too but can anyone shed any light???

Usual suspect for this can be the cat being blocked. You need to get the fault code checked out.

If you can get a fault reader on it and see what codes come up. have a look at what condition the air fillter is in and the throttle body.

i have had redex put in it but made no difference, also the car has just passed the MOT so would it not have failed on emissions?. Havin the fault code read 2moz, just tryin to get a few ideas on what it may be. Thanx Johnny

Have you checked the plugs? As mentioned above, have a look in the throttle body. Fuel pressure regulator?
