Hello to you all.
I found this site as I'm trying to get my vectra 2.2sri back on the road.....................been laid up for a year as couldn't afford to run and now have some issues which I have been told require new ECU. I remain unconvinced but am fairly new to the wierd and wonderful world of engines and have checked car with OBDII reader finding the following fault codes:
P1512 Intake Manifold Runner Control (Bank 1) Stuck Closed
P1516 IMRC Input Error (Bank 1)
I want to try to see if anything can be done before going to the expense of a new ECU and then finding that I have wasted my time and money. If anyone can give me some advice and assistance to resolve these issues it would b greatly appreciated.
Please note engine management light <u>AND</u> the Traction control light are on!!!
