right im back again to continue this ongoing problem...
first up, sorry ive not posting in ages, been a tad busy with job lose, hunting for new one etc...
Right... as it stands the problem i had before is still the same, temp gauge on the dash works as and when it wants too, Ive fitted another CTS, new speedo, and voltage regualor on the alternater, yet i am getting the smae problem... I'm thinking it might be a broken wire or a short but ive tried wiggling the wire coming from the CTS while someone is sat in the car and the gauge doesnt move, sometimes when im driving at a constant speed, normally around 60 or 70mph the temp gauge moves and sits there just above the first white mark then it drops off...
I haven't really noticed any difference in the running of the car however the piston rings are shot and the balencing chain needs doing so its not at its best, I have another engine to put in once ive done a bit of recon work on it so hopefully that will cure the temp gauge problem, if not, then Im stuck...
