Traction Control

Hi All

I have a 2001 Astra coupe. I want to do the traction control mod and tonight i lifted the blanking panel by the ash tray. I was pretty suprised that there were three wire looms clipped into the back of the panel. Im assuming that the centre one is for the traction control and the others for the heated seats. Would this be a fair assumption, and if so, does that mean that i only need to change the blanking plate and add the switch to do the mod?

chances are it's not mate the other may be for an electric hood i think i was told even thought it would not have one on coupe or hatchback,vauxhall used the same wire loom for all the astras i beleave.

do you have any pics of the 3 blocks ?

the t/c one is blue.

even if you do have it you may only be part wired

i have a pic but dont have permission to upload it apparently. The centre block is blue, one outer blocks is green, the other black

it may well be t/c but as i said it may not be wired in the only eway to check is to get a switch and hook it up.
