Rubbing Noise

Didnt know if this is the right place to put this post, so if not am sorry!!!

when am driving all i can hear and feel from my drivers side footwell is a rubbing noise, it happens only when turning left... i have jacked the car up to check to see if its either the mud guard thing lol... or to see if something is rubbing on the wheel. but to my disappointment i couldnt find nothing.. this also only happens when the car seems to be hot or driving over about 30mph... have been to a garage and check wheel bearing and they just shook the wheel and said its ok.. could it still be the wheel bearing????

im abit stumped to be honest..

i have looked about they only thing i can think it would be is on the back of the brake disc is a dust guard and this is very close to the disc could this be the case???

any input will be appreciated..

checked the CV joint behind the wheel no rips or tears

put the car on full lock and t give it some gas, if the Cv's are worn you should hear some clicking or grinding as u accelerate, do some the same going the other way as [left and right on steering wheel]

sometimes if you catch a cv early enough u can pack it with grease again and a new boot and u get away with it

any nasty banging noises are usually driveshafts

if the mechanic gave the wheel a good pulling for movement on the hub then it is unlikely it is a bearing

also look inside the arch behind the wheel 🙂
