si_c1978 have you tried adding an extra earth as suggested earlier? just run a jump lead from engine block to the negative terminal on the battery.
blitz Check the crack sensor been pluged in right and check the cam sensor and coil pack cause if there dead car wont turn over some 1 came to me with this problem few days ago its sorted by changing crank and cam and injectors needed cleaning... Cheers
