Hey guys not sure if im in the right place but I need some advice about connecting my car to a pc/laptop. I have to do my honours project for uni and I would love to be able to make a software which uses the OBD2 connector (any excuse to play around with my car I suppose). The real problem is that I have no idea how much information I can expect to get and i have had a look online and there seems to be a lot for cables that come with thier own software. So any advise about which one to buy and how much information i would likely get would be great.
