PC tower req`d?

Hi all........been having problems with my home pc for a while now, main concern, it bins me off of the internet randomly and frequently.
Its at the stage now where it will flag up an error and wont even connect, its not mega old and quite a good computer but has had loads of use over the years by myself, Kate and the kids. Ive given it a good olclean up (cookies, un-wanted files etc) but think its time to re`new.

Its used now as means of connection to the Net..especially when Im on detachment for comms to Kate etc. Music and pictures etc are stored on my portable hard drive and we all have use of laptops.......basically I just need a tower with good processing speed, not too fussed with memory notsure.gif 😃

If you all havent fallen asleep...is something like this gonna serve its purpose for my needs?

it is cheap

decent amount of ram

very small size hard drive [your computer will be slow within 3 weeks due to size and seek times]

budget processor

looks like on-board graphics or budget card

typical office workstation that is used for office applications

it is a dell so no scope for upgrading

be careful though as he has listed different size hard drives in the listing and spec

I sell those base units myself based on that spec for about £100

i have a very nice mobile barton xp2500 running at 2.2 ghz with gfx card, onboard sound, 512Mb ram base unit going for £75 if your interested

he got a gb of ddr3200 samsung cas 2

the cpu and ram alone is worth £35, so effectively he paid £30 for the psu, mobo, case, gfx card, h/s &fan, network card, 40GB HD - £15 quid next day delivery with fedex

mobo was an asus a7v333 that had been volt modded to accept the laptop CPU [1.45v instead of 1.65v], also i think it will push around 2.5 ghz stable with a bigger cooler and PSU

i usually knock out p4 base units for £90 quid with a 14" LCD, but the components are very cheap
