pete2504 Hi guys, just got word that my engine is goosed. I am looking to source a replacement however the astra engine is like hens teeth. My question is can I drop alt engine into 2.2 like vec or are the management units gonna be a problem.
JohnnyN Vectra has a power steering pump connected to the inlet cam. Remove the pump and take the blanking plate from your engine and put it in its place. Don't forget you can also use the vx220 engine and the Zafira engine.
