john2666 i am replacing the full engine and the donor engine has its ecu bolted to the inlet manifold, do i need to put the original one off my car onto the engine or can i use the one off the replacement car? i have been told that is is linked to the key transponder is this true
MikeS that is true unless u got the transponder for your new ecu then the car will not start, plus u need the key chip for that transponder so if u can use your old ecu as u got the transponder and chip already
