MikeS yeh can i have a 60 mm pipe to fit standard OE airbox with holes from the air temp sensor pls burt i will get the silicones hoses myself
BURT150 You meen 70mm mate? I could make it with the angle to the air box then the bit you cut off the 90degree silicon hose you could use as a joiner? with the hole for the iat and a 12mm inlet for the cam breather? is that what you meen?
MikeS yes but i want it 60 mm the tb diameter is 57 mm so i want the pipe as small as possible for vacuum
BURT150 57mm is the size of the butterfly opening then it opens out to 68 on the outer flange thats why its a 70mm setup. And i wouldnt wory about the vacume to much ive got a t peice and looped it off the the brake servo one. Its no different cus i compared afr's its still too rich!!
MikeS i knew it was around 60mm but i know u can get 90 degree reducers 🙂 so effectively reducing the diameter of pipe using a reducer 🙂 http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p4742 ... _info.html then a 45 degree reducer for the airbox or modify the pipe to use 70mm pipe so i can use some silicone to join to air pipe
BURT150 Yea i see what you meen now. but if your planning on keeping your air box even if you went up from 70 to 80mm i dont think it would effect your vacume. I can make one for you if you want tho but ill have to order a bit of pipe wheras if you went 70 ive got half a meter with your name on it :thumbup: and a spare 45 70mm silicone hose in blue 😃
BURT150 Ok you got 3 options. 300mm strait pipe with iat hole and 12mm take off for £15 " " with 45 degree blue silicone hose for £25 ali pipe with 45 degree bend iat hole and take off for £20(use the offcut from the 90 silicone hose for a joiner to the air box) Take your pic mate 😃
