AAARRRRRRR! the bonnet f**ked again!

i smashed the grill out the other night and got a new bonnet cable fitted and its been fine!
went out this morning to fit egr, clean the engine bay etc. and the bonnets jammed again! dunno..

i can hear the catch moving but tried bouncing the bonnet (near to the point of bending it :x ) but it won't click open!

had the front bumper off as far as i can (still bolted between lights) but still not able to get to any thing to release it!

completly puzzled now!

not good mate, can't suggest anything more that hasn't already been said in your threads

Can you unbolt the release handle in the cab? You could then pull the cable much more that the 90 degree movement the handle gives you.

withthe bumper of can u see the lock spring....if you can just unclip it off the slam panel and the baonnet should release....had to do this on car in work last week...

When you do finally release it make sure you clean and grease up catch and spring area on the bonnet itself, as I had this with mine at the beginning of the year and that part was the main culprit.
