Re: IT FITS!-whats needed to fit a z20net?
hello again!
im just preparing for another weekend of dissapointing weather, but hopefully there will be a break where i may achieve something :lol:
myself and me mate are having a bit of a debate on what we do with the megasquirt ecu....
he thinks that we should check the pinouts on the plug then try and splice in where we cut the plug off which sounds the tidyest way of doing it.
however... ive been through the wiring diagram daz sent me and im not so sure and would like to wire from scratch. (gut out the old loom and wire solely with the ms loom) as things like the fuel injectors, the 12 volt remains daisy chained but is wired in banks from the ms
(2 injectors 1 wire) also the coil pack requires a lot more wires to run normally than ms requires to run it so im a little confused ther notsure.gif ,
also its easier to wire the sensors when all you have to do is find the sensor and run the wires to it as opposed to working on the pin outs,
(also it means i can strip the z20net loom out even if it is raining and make some progress, only i feel the momentum slipping away on the project and it distress's me!)
so please excuse me if im being stupid, but which is the easiest way to tackle this? thanks guys!
