vinceboy Hi, does anybody know what the following means and what needs changing, thanks. BIS2 Air/Fuel mixture Bank1sensor2 (RICH), this stays (RICH) all the time from starting to normal operating temperature. Probably why my car only does 17mpg!
vinceboy just finished a test using opcom and bank 1 sensor values fluctuate between 60 and 889mv with a lean to rich mixture and bank 2 sensor values are quite steady at around 600mv with a constant rich mixture. Do I take it then that bank 1 sensor(air/fuel mixture) lambda is faulty, cos I removed it and it was totally clean. If you gently idle up the revs there is no misfire, but if you floor it, it misses like crazy.
vinceboy Just to add, no eml is on and opcom found no fault codes. The egr was not responding on, so took it off and it was stuck closed. With a bit of persuasion I managed to release this and freed it up, tested it using opcom before i put it back and piston moving freely opening and closing. Hopefully this will stop the morning shaking and stalling, but the misfire problem still exists as described.
MikeS front lambda has to drop below .3 volts at idle when warm otherwise it is faulty what are the averages from both lambdas
vinceboy Mike, rear sensor averages .6v and front .4v, but I read on lamba site from the stickie, that the front value is normal. Note that the rear sensor is showing a permanent rich mixture.
