Russ_123 Guys noticed today that there is a tiny little orange light in the centre bottom trim of the rear view mirror. I have searched for a switch but cant find one  Is this supposed to always be on? as it seems to directly aim at the centre console where all the buttons and display is. Anyone help? :shifty:
Matt With it being a Vectra C, could it be related to the Auto Dimming feature on the rear view mirror?

Matt It's called 'Indirect Night Lighting'. It illuminates the centre console in an orange light when it's dark, thus making it easier to see things.
sdbutler10 it comes on when lights are on. it ment to light up the dash and gear stick. its called a courtesy
Matt Another one of the features they fitted to the earlier Vectra C's, and removed from the later ones 🙁
Russ_123 Matt said: Russ, does your Vectra have automatic wipers as well? No mate, only come on when I instruct them too... Do yours then?
Matt Nope, but some of the early Vectra's did. Mine doesn't have the auto dimming mirror either, and the facelift model lost the rear cup holders, the cup holder tray in front of the handbrake, and a few other little things.

I got the rear cup holder, proving to be very useful actually
Matt I've also got the sun glasses holder in mine, however, that was retro fitted by the previous owner. That was a nice surprise to find out 😃
