Red to Pink query?

Guys on a red car, if you can see signs of it possibly turning to the pink side :sick: what are the best products to use to refresh the red and keep pink at bay?

Give it a going over with a porta polisher an a fine cutting polish will help restore the red shine.

Wow! that is pretty impressive and quite expensive :? (for me anyway lol)

Can the problem be rectified by hand? and if so, which products will I need?

Vauxhall and the great oxidsation lol.

If you can not afford to buy all the kit just pay some one to detail it and then keep on top of it by hand.

If you go to

www.detailingword.co.uk and look for a local person in your area, there is normally plenty of amatures that want cars to test on. Or you can pay a premium and get a pro to do but you could be looking at big £££

Would it save me money in the long term if I buy the polisher that was mentioned earlier in this thread?

Would I need to buy anything else to use with that polisher?

had a nova and astra gsi that faded like that

i used resin polish and it restored colour but for only a few weeks

mines 'stealth' red and unfortunately it does only last a few weeks, im afraid i kindo given up on mine,
someone has offered to g3 it for me but to be honest she'll have to have a spray.
although i have a mate who does vinyl wrapping who suggested doing my whole car red.... i nearly pissed myself laughing(could work tho!)

do you wax your car? as this would offer some protection to the paint work

occasionly yes.... if im honest i am quite lazy when it comes to that sort of thing, ill probably do it again at the weekend.
