traction control/ESP prob?

i know, i know, yet another problem!

mrs loves the car too much so rather than taking it back which i would of! i have to get all the little bits sorted!

this has happerned a few times, just driving along and the TC/ESP light comes on, don't think theres any harm but i think its just showing that there not working (more worried for when the ice/snow comes)

has anyone had this? would a plug in show owt up?

yeh usually a decent code reader will pick up the codes as they are sometimes stored on the main ecu

for the tc light to come on when driving for no reason then look at abs sensor

i'll have a look tomorrow as the new rims will been going on (if i get time)

i now have a sri 150 vectra, a astra cab and am on the look out for a mint vectra gsi so think its about time i got my own reader!

can anyone recomend one?

any time, any speed, completly for no reason!

OK i had the same prob and mine was down to the back tyres being a different size so the ecu thought my tyres were spinning.... id check the clips above the break disc's make sure they are tight and sound 1 of them could be workin its way free

i'll get all these checked when i do the rims!

over on AOC they keep talking about op-com, but mike had one but had nothing but trouble notsure.gif
