Does anyone have a pulley installer that i might be able to borrow and can leave a deposit? Or does anyone know if the ZZP puller is an installer too? dunno..

I have no idea, some places just use a bolt to pull it on, but Jon at courtenay advises against doing that.

I was tempted by the bolt method. I might just have to bite the bullet and and either buy the correct tool or get Courtney to do it

I have the pulley puller, but I don't really want to lend it out as some of the parts on it are consumable and need to be reordered from the usa when they wear out.
If all you want to do is install the pulley, you can just heat it up quite hot and it should slip on, maybe with the assistance of a bolt
Removing is a lot harder than installing

Removing is easy with a hydraulic press, but better heat up the pulley before you pull it off.

I know its old thread 🙂 but I'm gona change pulley... so basically ,warm up pulley and use hydraulic press to remowe it ?
and that's it?
