Squeaky windows and door

its becoming really annoying and embarrassing now!

whenever i open my door it creaks, ive tried putting some wd40 there and it doesnt work.

also my window squeaks really loudly when you open it, how can i stop it, its only started to happen with the warm weather, are the seals dried out?

rather than wd40, get some proper lube on it, WD40 is mainly a water repellent, and won't provide a long term solution for lubrication.

I`m not alone, like-wise my drivers window gives off a high shreek when it goes down, doors not been a problem though, new seals I guess, easy and cheap fix I hope.

I use silicone pipe lubricant available from all plumbers merchants or wickes / b&q, works a treat
