Before buying my vx220 i owned a red astra gte 16v for 3 years which i sold, after a period without one i wanted another planning to run it through winter months along side the vx.
In 2006 ago a grey one appeared on ebay in bridgewater, so i went to to veiw it, it was mot'ed and tax with new yoko's and brakes but needed a new water pump so i brought it looking at it as a project, had the water pump and cambelt replaced and ran it till the mot and tax expired its stood since then on.
Now whoever replaced the rear arches hadn't bothered replaceing the inner arches also on the drivers side put a replacement panel over the rusty original :crazy: , the sills are shot and some ones been at the bulkhead in the past :problem: and theres some other easy jobs to do.
Over the past two months ive been getting bits together planning to work on it over the winter, i'll only be working on it at weekends whenever time allows, i started on it on friday. so here you go vocky 🙂 further to asking about repair panel quality.
