2.4 inlet manifold on!

it finaly stopped raining enough and i had enough time to finish the inlet job runs sweet as a nut!
throttle is a little sensitive, could be the inlet, or could be the extra bollock i knocked off the throttle body second time around! :mrgreen:

will do, just gotta get a new camera sorted out my ones fuked!
the throttle may just have seemed sensitive as ive been driving the mrs's 95 cleo proper heavy pedals!
ill try and post some photos when i find my phone lead.
Cheers for all the advice people, the cams are next i have a pair with sprockets just waiting till i have enough readys to send em to piper, but i gotta pay off me xmass hol first! :mrgreen:

How do you mean they still have yours? have they not finished?
ive posted a kindo photo progress thingy, wasn't really taking enough photos sorry! (ill do more when i whip the cams out and try n do a better write up.)

right o....
i have a piper cross viper air filter + 3" ducting,
diblas flowmaster (extra wide air inlet),
power flow exhaust,
HEAVILY ported and polished throttle bodys!(very chuffed with that, my mate builds cars and hes asked me to tackle the tbs on his nissan 200sx with a skyline engine)
pre cat removed,
200 cell sports cat,
blanked off my egr valve,
and ive ducted off my cam cover oil pipe elsewhere(i had a lot of oil in the 2.2 manifold) :mrgreen:

ah harsh ive bought a set, i think im gonna get the timing chain and balance chain done before swapping over the cams, i sound a little tickety at start up these days(so i certainly need a new tensioner) so gonna have to put maintainance before perfomance even if i am being a little paranoid!

Id watch out with buying the cams mate - I had a very similar mod list to you plus a P&P'd Patriot Head with big valves... The Combination of TB Porting, 2.4Inlet and Cams made the thing run like an absolute bag of poopoo below 2000rpm with flatspots and misfires everywhere. I dont think the MAP is cut out for the pressure spikes/dips and overfuels like mad!

It also couldnt idle at all, sometimes the TB jammed shut and caused a P1514 error needing an ignition cycle to make the car responsive again! :crazy:

Just an Fyi - i'd save your monies for something else 🙂

well ive got em as spares, if it doesnt go down well ill swap em back then sell em, defo no prob with my merciless throttle body porting, ive done a few now(im quite in demand with me mates) cleanliness is key!! (petrol cleaning tank also helps)
