Was goin about my daily dutys , fixing french crap again,when there was this almighty bang and then silence...
Run outside the workshop and down to the main road to find a Yamaha R1 sat in the middle of the traffic calming pissing out fluids,and the rider laying on the floor around 60ft b4 the bike....
Seems that he tried to beat a car thru the calming, misjudged his distance(due to goin to fast) and mounted the kerb taking out 3 metal bollards in the process...bein a helpful bunch we let the chap(who got carted off with a suspect broken arm and leg) keep the bike in the workshop for safe keepings...so took a few pics...
Looks ok from this side aprt from a dent in the tank and small scrape on the faring.
The damge on the other side was bit worse....Front faring and lights u/s, engine casing fubbered, handle bar mtgs u/s,forks bent, tank u/s
