sounding ropey!

just finished my 2.4 manifold install, and firedc her up and it had a bit of a blast thro' and sounded a bit scary...... how odd should it sound when youve reconnected the ecu? also there is a long black pipe that used to locate in the side of my z22se manifold that comes from behind the engine that i am a little unsure what to do with?
also do you just blank the hole under the throttle body? notsure.gif

think that is for your brake servo vacuum ?

It should look like this with a 1 way valve from the outlet on manifold to the break servo;

yeah thats right then thats what ive done, ill have to go round and check for any leaks in the manifold tomorrow,
ive got a horrible feeling my ecu made a funny noise when i reconnected the battery and now my key remote lock doesnt work i dunno if that is connected? other than a few tight wires i cant think of anything that could cause that

yeah i have closed the egr off as well

just a small leak, when i put the throttle down me bung in the manifold must have slipped,revised the manifold but too wet to do anything now!
