hi, wondered if you guys can help?
went out in the car yesterday and its developed a slight miss when accelerating gently i.e going through town in 3rd, as you push the pedel it has a split second with no power then it'll go and then do it again probly every 10-15 secs apart!
its not enough to show on rev gauge but as a driver pressing the pedel you know when it should be accelerating.
it does do this on steady acceleration in all gears but the idle is fine and if you floor it its fine.
the oil was done 2k ago, air filter 2k ago, spark plugs 5k ago, only thing i'm not sure on is the fuel filter, and its been on 99% octane since jan, 09.
before the last fill up, the tank got low but not low enough for the fuel light to be on so it shouldn't of had cr@p dragged through?
i checked and cleaned the air box, air intake pipe, spark plugs, & TB this morning but this has not made a difference!
i've been advised to reset the ecu (which i'm going to do in a minute) and tommorow will fill the tank with fuel and redex
other options are egr value? dis pack? fuel pump probs? or maybe just the fuel filter (which i'll get ordered)
any advise would be helpful, thanks!
