machine polish?

hello all

well the frontera has some scratchs i want to get rid of how well would a machine polish get rid of the scratrches ?

and what sort of price am i looking at ?

also anyone know of any good places to do a full valet and machine polish in the herefordshire or worcestershire area ?

A good machine is around the £100 mark.

i have a machine polisher [bosch] if u want it done real cheap

i let u use it 🙂

If a rotary polisher scares the shit out of you Gaz, go for a Porta Polisher. Much harder to damage the paint work with one of them

whats the difference between the 2 matt ?

i wouldnt say it scares me but just need some help on how to use one lol

so do you think i would be better off getting someone else to do it for me or having a go myself ?

need to learn the basic stuff 1st mind lol

aint that hard m8

it is all about elbow grease

use a soft pad and some resin polish

dont use the cutting compounds until u are confident

The rotay can easily burn through the paint if you don't know what you are doing.

The porta polisher is random orbit, which makes it a lot harder to damage the paint. I've used a PC several times, but don't feel comfortable with a rotary.

i only used rotary on cutting fresh paint when it had orange peal effect and a bit of overspray

i never used it on 2pac paint before neither would i use it on my car 😛

well will have a look into the porta polisher see if i can use it lol will it take out small scratches still ?

have u tried using resin polish and a micro fibre cloth m8

it really did help with missus's 12 year old corsa that had some deep scratches on the bumper

the scratches eventually come back but it does help

not tried anything on them yet mate they are not deep and i think with a good machine polish 95% will come out ?

just need to decide if get someone to do it ? or but my own and have a go ?
