Vauxhall Corsa b 1.2 16v Automatic Problems

Hi guys,

Just looking for advice, i have recently brought my mrs a Vauxhall Corsa b 1.2 16v GLS Automatic, the problem is that the S light on the dash keeps flashing, and it will not kickdown in the gears, it seems to stay in 3rd gear...

This is not all the time, it can go a few days without any problems.

Any suggestions?

need to get it hooked up to a reader especially one than can read auto boxes

worth checking your transmission fluid though

something as stupid a the brake switch can fuck them up.
these could be many problems
best bet as mike said needs a good reader on ti

So far i have took off the Gear selector switch, stripped it down and cleaned up, built it all back together etc.. seemed ok until the engine warmed up, will do a fluid change of friday, see how it goes from there...
