paul7415 Hi evrybody just wondered if anybody had experienced the same problem that am having. I have had my astra for a couple of months now it is the 2.2 sri z22se engine y reg and my ecu light came last week and then after a day it went back off now when i pull up at a junction the idle speed revs up and down sometimes stalling it is also takes longer to start if it is still warm. apart from this the car drives fine. I have borrowed my mates code reader it says there is 1 fault but it wont display the code. Thanks for any help Paul.
slindborg duff EGR valve. mine did this last week. You can drive on it till you get the blanking plate + if you want the egr cheater from here. It will just be funking annoying lol
paul7415 cheers.. i was going to blank the egr valve off anyways so i will give that a try. Also do i need the cheeter if so where is the best place to get it from. Thanks
slindborg or leave one end of the valve bolted to the blanking plate and leave it plugged in lol. I got my cheater yesterday so will fit it on sat. (weight saving lol)
